Cold asphalt: the key value features of the Blend Plants A240 Quater plant ensuring quality, efficiency and competitiveness.

Eco Works chose to install its A240 Quater for the production of cold asphalt on a concrete foundation built specifically for this purpose.

The support is provided by steel mounts, leaving an open gap underneath to facilitate improved cleaning. Alberto Zanin, owner of Eco Works, explains: “We enclosed the loading ramp of the bins with modular Betonblock elements. This way, the plant is completely isolated from the surrounding context to simplify maintenance and any disassembly for transport”.

Eco Works decided to store binders inside vertical silos that supply the plant via augers.

By using Blend Plants horizontal silos, transportability is further optimized thanks to their specific design, conceived for easy transport and positioning. And transportability, as highlighted below, is one of the main advantages Eco Works recognizes in the plant installed at the company:

Fast and easy transportability

Having already had an excellent experience with Blend Plants transportable systems, Eco Works once again chose a two-module transportable solution, one equipped with hoppers and the other with hoppers and a mixer, as well as tanks for water, emulsion, binders and additives.

Rapid plant start-up

Even upon arrival at the facility, the first commissioning required only one hour of work.

Electronic management

The modular concept of Blend Plants systems, including the A240, is the foundation that makes it possible to meet very different needs. At the core of these plants are continuous mixing and the ability to have every element needed for mixture production on board, regardless of its composition.

It can in fact be a conglomerate, a cement-treated mixture, or simply a blend of different materials to be used dry.

Confirming the flexibility and versatility of the plant, the electronic management system allows operators to directly and intuitively set the various formulas so that quality remains consistent over time.
