A small and compact plant, but equally versatile. E015 is designed to operate in difficult construction sites thanks to its small size: shorter wheelbase, reduced machine height. It can be mounted on trucks, Unimog or be stationary: a real multipurpose mobile plant.
Born as a mobile flooring system and equipped with a pumping unit available in two versions: piston and air. It is mounted on a 4-axis chassis and has an output of up to 8 m3/h at an air pressure of 6 bar. This plant is unique as it produces traditional screeds, semi-wet screed, self-levelling screed, shotcrete (both dry and wet), and concrete. It ensures continuous operation and the utmost precision, also thanks to the pumping unit which guarantees smooth pumping, a pipeline with no “kicking”.
The first positive test, carried out on April 28, 2017, permitted the construction start in July 2017. The MX08 project solved casting problems brilliantly and quickly thanks to its mixers, guaranteeing a high and constant quality of the concrete.
The project, starting in 2016, involved the renewal of the the track base of the metro line between Baker Street and Finchley Road, substituting the ballast with concrete slab track. The plant nicknamed “Luigi” worked continuously, producing between 8 m3 and 15 m3 of concrete per shift. The work was carried out at night to ensure the smooth operation of the metro. Luigi was designed to be set up on a single battery-powered railway wagon.
